Well what u could do is u could write it on note cards if you have already done that then keep rewriting them cuz thats what helps me memorize stuff. once u keep writing them it will get stuck in ur head. or u could just rehearse wit someone from ur family and theyll correct u if somethin is wrong. GOOD LUCK. HOPE MY ADVICE HELPS.

Try practicing with someone so they can help keep you focused, or you could try putting a tune to the monologue(sing it to learn it, but say it in front of class! ) Other than that, memorization is really just repitition, so you just have to do make yourself do it! Hope this helps!

i think its good to write out your speech and when you wake up and about to go to bed, you recite it to yourself. some studies show that studying over a period of time is better than memorizing everything all at once. I think reciting it at night before bed and in the morning when i wake up helps memorize fast.

take the paper and shove it up your nose/ear if it reaches your brain, than you have it memorized

There are some good tips on here, but sometimes just looking and saying the sentences over and over get boring and just goes over your head. I have difficulty remembering things too, but what seems to work for me is to picture it, and think about what is being said. If you can break down a phrase and find a different way, your own way, of say or explaining it- it will become easier to repeat. Whatever complicated sentence is said, you can make a picture in your head to describe it, even somthing funny. like in this link is from macbeth>http://www.enotes.com/shakespeare-quotes/damned-spot for the simple phrase> "out, damned spot".. I'd picture my mom trying to get a stain out of the carpet lol Good luck! If you really become interested in what your saying and doing, then you will remember it. Its not all about "remembering", but understanding it.. then repeating it will become much more interesting. If you need specific help, feel free to message me- I'd be glad to help :D

my favorite way is to look at a small part, say from this line to this line, then try to memorize it, then cover it and say it out loud, once you have memorized that section, then pick the next line to another line and memorize thouse lines, then say the ones out loud you just memorized, and then try to say those two sections together.
