I want to go into acting but i dont know how to get started!!!?

start out auditioning for a school play.... then work your way up into something a little more chalenging and funner for you!

Are you in high school or college? Are you thinking of getting into acting as a career or just something extra? How old are you? Most people don't just wake up one day and say. "i want to be an actor" There are soo many people out there that have been practicing for years, trying to get experience under their belts and always trying out for plays and films. If you want to be an actor, you need to really pour your heart and soul into it. Don't get yourself into something unless you're truly going to pursue it. Start small and work your way up. Perform in front on friends and family then go to auditions

Move to LA and find work there. dont they just staple papers about auditions on poles.

Start out with community theater and school plays. Best way to start! And may I just say...being dramatic really has nothing to do with it.

Well you can go to acting classes. However, your friends saying you are dramatic does not mean they think of you as an actress. When people call you dramatic they usually mean you over-react to situations and are a drama queen. I am not saying you are. I am just telling you what people mean when they say dramatic. I cannot judge you I do not know you.

try first trying to act in front of friends to get your cofindence. Try to find out whats the saddest thing to you that will make you cry to get into a kind of sad acting. Or you can some acting classes.

get in drama at your school, join a drama club in your community, acting classes, etc.

don't 90% of actors live under the poverty level ... go to school and get a real job
