What do you think makes a good actor/actress?

this is very easy...its not just talent but its the 100% of hard work you put into it,like study your character real real good to bring him/her to life and etc. i can go on all day with this kinda of stuff. but hope this answers your question?

Good actors do not look like they are acting; they play their role convinvingly and are not afraid to add bits and pieces which arent in the script and not all actors are loud but i think they should be confident

a good actor/actress is confident in what they are doing, they are very funny, they know how to make people laugh, they play their parts very smoothly like its their life...not a movie, they are believable, and they are good looking.

All of the brilliant actors I have seen share one thing in common: superior concentration and stage presence, which you are usually born with. The truly great ones have the quality of having just walked in off the street and became that character. For most good actors, they have a child-like ability to believe in the imaginary circumstances of the play, and to 'become' the character. They are able to make the audience see what they are thinking. A 'good actor' though is also a very subjective assessment. The great ones are hard to miss.

you have to put yourself into the characters shoes. and you also have to make the character believeable.

actresses and actors can be of any shape or size and they dont have to be that beautiful.. the main thing is being confident with yourself and willing to try new things..and you have to be believeable
