    i think they were always pretentious. i think mac needs to start making commercials about why macs are good, not why pcs are bad. pro mac, not antipc.

Yes, which is perfect because now their commercials match their owners. I took 4 phone calls this week alone from Mac owners who's Macs "crashed and had to be rebuilt". So much for Mac stabilty. Just bought a perfectly functional Win7 laptop for $350. Let's see how much Mac that'd buy you. Don't misunderstand me, Macs are fine... they just aren't 4 times better than a PC which is what Steve Jobs wants you to pay.

I agree. I feel it used to compare them in a way that made it simple for the non-computer savvy to understand, yet it was still funny for the geeks. Now though it's just ridiculous, in my opinion anyways. Some of the commercials don't even compare them anymore, they just say how terrible PC is. Or they make the PC guy look like a con artist, or unsavory character, which has nothing to do with computers. For example, this opener-video for the WWDC09. It just makes PC look like a douche bag. It doesn't actually say PC is any worse. So I agree with you.

Each time they show that, Mac is paying PC to show that commercial, cause they just have to arguments will keep on going and will keep mac vs pc, popular
