How does a teen get started in the singing and acting business?

first off, get some experience. no ones would probably hire you for anything unless you got some connections, which i doubt. if you an aspiring actress then go get lessons. perfect first step

you shoudl do some classes!participate in plays! build up your resume! get an agent! do auditions! get headshots! actinginfo.blogspot.com acting411.blogspot.com hannahmontanacasting.blogspot.com and for an agent go to talentagents.blogspot.com and scroll down till you find city nearest you read everythign you see! and click on words in blue but not double udnerlined ones and i suggest that you sign up with alan baltes go to first site and look at right column it explains everything! he wont be an agent just help you out and its a one time fee of 30 dollars and totally worth it!please do not report mee ok i am not doing anything bad and this isnt spam or solicitation its not my site!i just copy and paste my answer cause its teh same for every question and sometimes i alter it! whats wrong with that?

Oh wow i dont want to get your hopes up or anything but i live in Los angeles and the chances of me and my brother getting into it is a lot higher, but even at that point we havent gotten anywhere. My mom wasted ALOT of money, and time. So i wouldnt move all the way here and pay all of the money for an agent, classes, and headshots, and workshops, and acting classes. I did all of that i was in acting classes for 5 years, and it got me no where. So i mean its only for a select few. As for as singing i would guess the same..

Well I'm 14 also and I love singing and acting but acting more. MY parents are divorced and are supportive but wont go across country for me and they are also on a budget. I recommend you wait till you are 18 and before then save up money so you can set a goal for the place you want to audition in. when that time comes around give them the best you've got. Good luck.
