Its all about price. Spring is cheap unless you get highpowered snipers AEG(electric) start at about $80. And can break as springs almost never break. If you dont know what the main differences between the three are, I highly suggest you dont get a gas as they require a good knowledge of how they work and can break if you dont know what your doing. Overall I say go to airsplat.com and find which spring rifle you like for $30, or go to big5 and buy a $20 spring pistol. And see if you even like airsoft

well it depends in what you want from your airsoft personally for me is electric you u can go full auto but spring you can get more power and more range and u don't have to charge a battery but gas its strong and can go a good range but u have to keep buying more gas for it but i say electric just get a couple more batteries for its has a ok range and can go full auto.
