What is a good paintball brand/gun for a beginner?

If you want preferably speedball, go with a smarts part ion. There are plenty of better guns, but for a beginner, it is cheap and a pretty good gun. You can get one off ebay for around 150 or a whole new package of tank, hopper, and gun for 300 or less. Get one of those and see if you like paintball and if you wanna stick to it, that will be a god gun for you.

first off dont buy any brass eagle guns. The best brand for beginners is Tippman, there extremely reliable. buy a 98 custom, or an A-5 but there a bit more expensive

Brass Eagle Avenger it has the Double Speed-Ball trigger and is about $120. I have it myself and it is a great gun! I bought it from Sports Athority.
