How do you get better at skateboarding?

How could i get better at skateboarding?

  • I've been skateboarding for almost a year now but i can't seem to land flips. I could only do ollie and shuv-its. please help.

    Three words. Practice, Youtube, and Skateparks. Go on youtube and search "How to do a kickflip" or "How to do a heelflip" and then practice. If you still can't get it, go to a local skatepark. There is bound to be someone there who knows how to do it. They will be able to give you hands on advice. They can to you what your are doing wrong, how to do it better, etc. Good luck on the flips!!

practice and watch any thing on tv about boarding like DRIVE on the FUEL channel they have all kinds of boarding shows like scarred and boardcamp. also if you can go to skateparks and watch how others do it and keep practicing. No matter what keep practicing, it may be your struts or wheels, bearings always check your equiptment for something that is too lose or to tight. you could even try someone elses board to get the feel of it and tune up yours. keep practicing you'll get better try doing more simple tricks like maybe stairs start with a Curve then go to2 and then you'll get the hang of it keep practicing and good luck

You need to practice to get good.. Skate at least 2 hours a day.. Go to youtube for trick tips. Since you have shove-its down work on pop shove-its, then kickflips and ect. Good luck and remember to have fun when you skate!!
