All of them work well, it's alway sbest to learn with someone there to help you, youtube is a great place to learn the fundementals of a trick and how to perform them, buy yourself is also a good way to learn, and the most rewording. I never had youtube or the internet when I first started, it wasn't on tv either and yeah there were skate videos but I could aford to have any, I had to learn from studing skate mags and the very few videos I could find, Nobody skated in my home town, it was really small, this was back in the day you really have it easy now.

Practice. A lot of practice. Just keep trying til you get it. Doing it with friends always makes it more fun as well, laugh at eachother when you fail. Which you will, a lot.
