    i agree ions are not very good and break. The pmr is a good idea i guess but stock pmrs are not very good. And for a new person you don't need a good gun. i think a spyder is good for you but if you must go with the ion idea at least get a vibe. its still made by smart parts and is better except bps and the barrel.

The ION is an amazing marker for begginers and pros it is very reliable and there are alot of up grades for it

Smart parts ions are awful beginner guns, they are very unreliable and hard to service. Also they dont actually shoot 17bps, maybe without air but with air and paint they wont go past 12bps. I suggest a PMR its about 250 dollars and a great gun.
