Recommended paintballs for a Smart parts Ion?

As far as size goes anything that fits into the barrel, but doesn't roll right through easily. Any paint that is around or above $40 per case should be decent paint.

You should try to stick around buying some procaps or higher end draxxus. That's what I run through all my tourney markers, i'm just sad that it's getting hard to find diablo blaze or hellfire any more. Have fun, great marker by the way.

The type of paintballs you get depends on the bore size of the barrel you will be using with the gun. I dont know the exact size of the stock barrel but this goes with any barrel. You have to experiment with different types of paint to find the kind that works best in your gun. You dont want the paint to be too tight in the bore where it will break in the barrel, but not so loose that it simply rolls out. The best paint for your barrel should easily slide through your barrel without having to be forced and without rolling out of the end. The best way to test is to see if you can blow the paintball out of the barrel with your mouth, if you can then the paint is a good size for your bore. You will likely have to experiment with several types of paint before you find one that works best.
