What type of paintball gun should a begginner buy?

well, it depends. do you want to use your paintball gun for woodsball (in the woods) or speedball (with the air bunkers). For Speedball.A great decently priced Paintball gun is an Ion. you will not be left behind in the game and it works great. me and many of my friends started with ions, they are a great beginner gun and easy to work and are a great deal, $200.00. I do not play woodsball, however some of my friends do and they claim that the Tippman 98 or a Tippman A5 are great for woodsball. if you can find a package of either of those two I recommend whichever variety of paintball interests you the most. good luck, and keep interest in the game

Spyder Pilot Package- you can buy everything for around 200 a good gun with CO2 Mask and Hopper, if you find w/ electric hopper buy it- good deal. overall good gun my brother has it and I use it with no problems all the time

For sure just go with a Tippman. It will be the most reliable gun you've ever seen. It may not be flashy but it will never let you down. My first gun was a Spyder Agressor, cool looking but it broke nearly every time I went out and I was stuck fixing it when I could have been having a good time. Good luck

a tippmann 98 custom is great for any beginner. Its not to expensive and can be customized once u get better.i reccommend this for all beginners
