AEG is the way to go. Sniping in airsoft is a useful position, but not the most fun.

well if your asking about getting a sniper versus an aeg, then i would go with the M-14. most models are fully automatic and they can be used in a sniper position also. especially if you are willing to spend upwards of $200 you can get a worthy M-14. try the brand Well or ICS. Possibly Classic Army.

Sniper RIFLE!!!! You can't buy people!!!! You won't ever spend $200 on an effective sniper rifle plus loadout and accessories. EVER. You will need to put a lot more time and money into a sniper rifle to make it worth something on the field.

I just got a palco sports a.e.g. m4 carbine and i think it is a great gun for the price--195--i would definitely get the a.e.g.

The absolute perfect gun for you is an AEG M14. They can be full auto, yetcan also be used as a sniper at the same time, and it looks like a sniper and is about the length of an M16. http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERA-CA-M14-04M.htm (you might want to copy the name of the gun and google it)
