Which Airsoft Gun Should I Get?

Which airsoft gun should I get?

  • I recently got a new M4 airsoft gun. And I decided I wanted a sidearm. So In deciding weather I should get a revolver or a shotgun (airsoft). What would you reccomend?

  • Answer:

I would definatly suggest a pistol. Revolvers are nice but as most have said they are slow to reload and only carry 6 rounds at a time. I would suggest a non blowback pistol since its only being used as a secondary weapon. Here is a link to some pistols that would be good sidarms. http://www.airsplat.com/Categories/GNB.htm ***To help out BRAVO WHISKEY thats a pretty nice gun but I have seen it on airsplat for less. take a look here you may want to check them out. Hopefully you can save some cash. http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GP-WE-1911-43TN.htm

Out of those i'd rather have a shotgun, but really i'd take a gas pistol that uses a mag over both. Revolvers are pretty neat but you only have 6 shots and reload really slow, shotguns will bear harder to carry around and wont have that much effective range but if you get one that shoots out 3 bbs per shot you can be effective in a close quarters scenario. However a gas pistol would be best. KWA and Tokyo Marui make the nicest gas pistols but if you don't want to put in that much money i'd got with a KSC Glock, KJW P226, or KJW 1911

I had a similar question. I have a JG M4 from airsoftmegasotre.com. I am looking at a sweet pistol I have to save up for from evike, and that is the WE Full Metal 1911 Desert Warrior gas blowback. It comes with two mags, but is about $115. If you can afford the price, get it. I personally would take an auto over a revolver. It holds more and gives you the Call of Duty/Battlefield look.

It is all about the gun. you could get a 50$ shotgun made by a knockoff brand and a $20 revolver that is good quality and see the difference. as for me, i would choose a pistol, not a revolver. i love my taurus pt-24/7 co2. it shoots 400 fps with a full co2 and is only 50$ and it lasts. this also depends on the weight, size, and mag capacity of your m4, as well as if it is electric,co2 or spring. if it was spring, i would take the shotgun because honestly spring air soft rifles are never good and crap out on you when you need them the most.

a revolver vs. a shotgun!? That's like comparing a game about shooting people and a game about saving people. I'll forget the shotgun cause that's just dumb. I'd get a handy pistol with easy to load mags such as a Colt 1911, a Beretta M9, a glock, a C31, or a P99. A revolver can be good, but I wouldn't last with only 6 BBs. I want an MP-443 but that gun is too new to be made as airsoft

Dude go for a revolver. They are a lot more portable and I love mine. It's spring (not gas) but it sends those BB's flying!
