What Type of bbs should i use for my Airsoft Gun?
-
Hi , I bought a airsoft gun today and i would like to know whats the best type of bbs for my my gun. My gun is a 200 fps. What bb should i buy?

Answer:
your gun only shoots 200fps with .12 gram bb's. companies tell you the fps when shooting .12 to try and make their gun seem more powerful that i might really be. if you are going for maximum velocity, Stick with .12g, any kind will do just fine. but if you want to make your gun more accurate, you might want to get .2g bb's. they do decrease the velocity by a little, but the bb will fly straighter over a longer distance.

Since your gun shoots 200 fps, you should use .12 gram bbs. If you use heavier ones the bbs will be weaker and they won't go very far
Jojo
Since it is only 200 fps use the lighter .12 gram bbs. I buy mine from walmart and I have never had one break in my gun before. Don't buy them off of the internet. Usually you have to pay more for s/h plus it takes forever for them to get to your house. If you get them from walmart they will be fine. Make sure they are plastic and have fun!
ok. only airsoft madman remotely knows what he is talking about. you should buy about 1-2 thousand 0.12 gram bb's. evkie.com sells them cheap. you can go to evike store if you live near pasadena/san gabriel. and yes sporting goods bb's are terrible.

Hi This is a good question! First most store bought bb's are not true seemless rounds and can cuase breaks and jams in your gun. First find a good website like airrattle.com or redwolf. Next use the weighted round your airsoft was rated with. You said 200 fps so if that was 200 fps with a .12g round go with those and so on for .20g ect. If the packageing did not tell you which weight it was rated for than its .12g the standard for airsoft. Here is a link for some great seemless cheap .12g rounds! http://www.airrattle.com/catalog/item/4815696/6209635.htm

I would buy them in bulk. Also, stick to the hard plastic ones, they make mini paintballs that can go in them, but those can break inside the gun and really screw it up.

Weight: 2 Lbs - Velocity: 310 Fps (0.2 g BB) Bulk 600 BB's Are Ideal, can buy them from most army surpless stores for EG. Metal BBs will go in AKA .... BB ( Ball Bearings ) Just make sure its the same MM as the airsoft gun. Make sure the size is the same, weight is not an issue, just size of BB. Best Answer ?
