What is better airsoft or paintball?

    I have played both and I personally like airsoft better. There is going to be a lot of disagreement over this answer but it is all preference. I like airsoft because you have real looking rifles, much more of tactics instead of just spraying like paintball, bbs fly much farther and are far more accurate than paintballs, and you aren't held down by CO2 cans and hoppers in airsoft. Some say paintball is expensive and it is but airsoft isn't that far behind. Granted bbs are far less expensive than paintballs, but airsoft gear can get quite pricey. But yeah, it is all preference and I prefer airsoft over paintball. ***EDIT*** Some people say that you don't feel if you get hit in airsoft. That is true for the long range stuff and for cheap backyard battles. I have played in many high end games and I have come back with many welts bleeding that were fired from farther than a paintball can reach.

Many people are biased on their own favorite sport but it really depends on you. Some thing paintball is better where some others thing Airsoft is the bomb. Airsoft is much cheaper, the ammo and majority of the guns are much cheaper than some really cool paintball guns. For airsoft, you get more milsim weapons, but for paint ball, some people like the pain...So its really up to you...and you have to clean and maintain your guns for paintball and airsoft on a regular basis...but for airsoft you dont have to as much.

I'll put it this way, how much pain do you want to experience? I've been playing these kinds of games for nearly 20 years; I've played with actual .177 BB guns (that's like your Crosman and Daisy type guns), 6mm Airsoft and .60 and .40 cal paintball. By far the latter ones hurt the most. As it stands now, I'm gearing up for a game this Sunday the 28th; If you are interested, contact me at [email protected] and I'll send you some information. airsoft or paintball i would think paintball would be better never played it but airsoft is starting to piss me off ive had to guns to break on me one within 3 days gave 250 for it and a jg bar 10 that slam fires and the trigger sear is good

It's all based on preference. You'll never find a clear answer. Also, a main factor is someones checkbook.

Paintball definitely if you want your whole body to feel like i had been stung by bees air soft but for good clean maybe a little messy fun definitely paintball which hardly hurts at all

Airsoft is much cheaper, but I think paintball is more fun, much harder to cheat. It all depends on how much you plan on spending.
