Where is a good fishing spot in north Sacramento?

How come when my son and his best friend go to a secret fishing spot and never catch a fish?

  • i always go fishing and my son and his friend comes along... they always to go their scret fishing spot but never bring back any fish and never use any tackle...whats up with this?

My boys have they same problem they goofing off they didn't know the old man was on the other end and when they came home they said they didn't have any luck me and mom just laugh

maybe they are using the wrong bait or there are no fish or they are not there at the right time

they are probably just goofing around, making forts, sharpening sticks, and stuff. or their just throwing their fish back. or maybe they aren't patient with fishing, and the take the pole out of the water every other seconds. hows about next time you go along with them. if they tell you to go back, then somethin fishy is goin on (haha lol). but if you go there with them and they fish, and they catch fish, then somethin fishy is goin on, think about it, how come they catch fish no that you are there, and not all the other days. now i honestly think they are doing somethin weird and you have to be onto them, unless you go and fish with them and they really dont catch any fish.
