What is the most bass you've ever caught in one day?

    Two of us caught 110 bass in one day a good while back, but this past Friday we caught 54 and Saturday we caught 48- You are going to have to leave the states to get into any better bass fishing then we have in my area of Louisiana. The high waters come up some years, and give a tremendous stocking to our waters- some years, not all of them- this is one year it gave a pretty good stocking, but not great. When the waters start going down , and gets back in the banks of the bayous, with a nice current coming across the points , you can catch a limit of 10 in less then 30 minutes some days- I am blessed beyond belief to live two miles from the best bass and white perch fishing in the U.S.

The most I have ever caught....hmmm... May sound like a fish tale, but anyone that has fished the New River in VA knows they are thick in there. 3 of us caught 73 bass in 6 hours. They were mostly 12-15 inches. The biggest was 5 lbs. 2 oz. My brother caught, took a picture, and released. We took pics of 48 and we ran out of camera space. Caught off creek minnows and Zoom Super Flukes (when we ran out of minnows).

my brother caught 30 one time. we fished sun up to sun down and they wern't all that big but its still the most i've ever heard of in one day.

Proabably about 40 bass most small ones between 8-14 inches. Most bluegill me and brother caught was probabaly 100 in an overcrowded pit in about 3 hours. Almost every time we casted we caught one it seemed. I only keep some occasionally to fillet and fry but most go back and all fish over 2lb ALWAYS go back in the lake. Last Sunday (2 days ago) me and my stepdad went fishing in an mine pit and only caught 4 small bass. Well a storm surge came in right at about 7:40 at night and the big fish came up in the shallows and I caught a 6lb 2 oz bass on a white terminator spinner bait and about 3 minutes later he caught one right by the boat that was 4lb even on a gary yahmamoto kreature bait. Right when he stopped it by the boat the fish slammed it and short lined it but he had 30lb powerpro on so it didn't give. We had to leave early even though it was dark because he forgot the trolling motor batter and we had to take the one out of the truck and didn't want to kill it so we probabaly missed out on some big post spawn bass.
