You might want to save up just a few more dollars and go with a good ABU reel and ugly stik combo cuz a good snook or monster red can eat a lesser reel up pretty fast!

i went to walmart and bought a big game real for $25 and bought a real that hold 30 # test for $25 on clearance. and they work great. have had them now for 2 year and havn't had a problem with them. i have brought in 20-30 salmon on it and still strong!! just have to look around for good deals. plus u could always get an ugly stick can't go wrong with them.

i dont know how much they are for salt water poles and reels but the ugly stick make a really good product.i bought 1 because i collect poles so i always have extra for friends if they dont have one.and i was impressed with it.and everyone who uses it goes out and buys one
