Are bluegill, sunfish, bream, brim fish easy to catch and what is the best bait to use to catch them?

a plain worm, bologna, or bread even works

All I ever use is worms on a hook.

I usually use wax worms. Some times I use just plain old corn from a can. I've heard it's illegal in some places. It's supposed to kill the fish. But I thought that's what we were doing in the first place.

I don't know anything about GULP but over the year I have caught tons of what is referred to as pond fish; brim sun perch, goggle-eye perch, etc. Use a small long shank brass hook and live earthworms. If your earthworms are extra big you can pinch them in half as you use them. We used to catch earthworms two different ways here in Texas. One, was to pour warm soapy water on the ground where the dirt was real loamy like under a tree. The worms will come up out of the ground by themselves. Secondly, take a hard wooden stick about 12 or 14 inches long. Whittle some notches about 1/2 to 3/4 inches apart. Now stand this stick upright leaning it slightly on some loamy ground where you think earthworms are and run a 16 penny nail up and down this stick. The worms will come up out of the ground unassisted. Try it.

yes there annoying actually they put up no fight and they eat all my worms so use worms if you want to catch them

I've always had luck with crickets, and a great many times with small poppers on a fly rod.

Bluegill are going to be bluegill. I have not seen a sunfish br for. Good luck on the two fish to eat o.k.
