A Silver Buddy or one of its clones, fished very slowly near the bottom. For suspended fish, a jigging spoon. Ditto on the fished slow. Bass metabolisms slow down in the winter, and they won't chase anything very far or moving very fast.

on creeks or small rivers try a plastic crawdad, let it drag on bottom, on lakes try a pumpkin seed lizard, thats what i use, its productive, but im not gonna lie and say I've got a mounter off it...

definitely a topwater frog. i got one at dickssportinggoods for like 8$, but it was worth it. ive caught a bunch of bass with it
