Whats the biggest large mouth bass you've ever caught?

  • My son just caught his second large mouth bass and it was over 6 pounds. Not the biggest but big enough for me!

    unfortunately i havent ever caught a wall mounter bass but the biggest would be a little over 8 lbs. it was 26 inches long had a big ol fat belly. you said that your son caught him a 6 lber. that aint nothin not shake your head at that is a nice nice sized fish. i would be thrilled to death if i went out and started bringing up 6lbers. i think that when i catch anything over 3 lbs was a good day. i have a pic of the 8 lber i caught if you want a pic of it shoot me your email. i found out that i cant send pics through yahoo answers. good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience. and tell your son to keep up the good fishin too..

i caught a 10lb 8oz bucket mouth bass in a private pond on a nursery in N.E.OHIO! i was fishing with a 6 inch creek chub and a bobber ive also caught an 8 lb while perch fishing in a private lake in PA i caught a 10 inch perch and right when i was about to bring the perch out of the water the bass attacked it and i landed them both it was awesome

How a 26in. 8lb. largemouth ISN'T a wall-hanger is beyond me. The biggest one I've ever caught was 20in. and 5lbs. I caught it on a small no.7 floating rapala that was missing the front hook. I'd love to catch a bigger one, but there aren't many lakes in Wisconsin that have a lot of big largemouth.

roughly 10 pounds my scale was off but thats my close guess my scale said 12 pounds but it looked like 10,i grew up on a lake catching bass all summer and every now and again landing a 6 ponder,a 6 pound bass is a great second bass!!keep up the good work
