What's the difference between humans killing animals for food and animals killing animals for food?

There is no difference. We eat the animals we kill and so do other animals that kill. Your friend suffered from a common liberal problem where they cannot respond to facts or information that in any way proves the error of their thought.

I don't know of any difference. What is the difference between hunting and getting a Happy Meal for your kid. Part of the price paid for the Happy Meal went to some guy killing cute little calves that have had their testicles cut off by some one else.

I hunt to, but I can see your friends point of view. If they are vegetarian or vegan, then they might be really opposed to hunting. If they're not a vegetarian...Well, then they eat the animals too, so you can't really argue. Honestly, it's probably a worse death in the wild. For example, a deer getting killed by it's predator is probably a lot worse than getting shot and killed. Which is a fast, easy death, and if its painful, it only lasts for those last couple moments of life. Can you imagine if Bambi's mom got killed by a ferocious beast? Also, the game commission picks the seasons special. That way you are not disrupting nature. Without hunting, the deer/turkey/bear/elk/small game/etc. could overpopulate, which would then cause them to die of starvation and disease. Hope this helps!

We usually cut ours up and cook it instead of chewing it to bits right there where we killed it. I guess I'm only speaking for myself. I don't know what the rest of you do.

Ask her where she thinks the meat at the store comes from. Humans have taken over as dominant species on this planet because we excel at killing. It is our special talent. We are better at it than any other animal. What we lack in teeth and claws we make up for in technology. Humans are a hybrid of spirit and animal, the ghost in the machine and we are omnivores. We need protein. Beans don't make it. Hunters eat what they kill, like any animal. I suspect your friend doesn't like the male ego. That is the real issue. To talk with women you have to become bilingual.

There is no difference because Humans ARE animals- literally speaking human sapiens are animals, just like flies and worms are animals. HTH
