Is anyone familiar with the route to Queretaro from Minnesota via Laredo, Texas?

We will soon be driving to Queretaro from Minnesota via Laredo, Texas. Anyone familiar with the route?

    Once you have passed the border, it will roughly take you 8 to 9 hours of driving time.3 to monterrey,2 to Matehuala,2 to San luis Potosi and the 2 to Queretaro.Buy your insurance online before you travel.Roads have improved and are a lot safer than 10 years ago.Hotels in Matehuala are still pretty bad suggest you get an early start and go all the way. On your way back make reservations in Laredo hotel,guarantee room with credit card and cross the border after 9 p.m.American border crossing can take hours!!

Well my family and I travel every summer from Wisconsin to Queretaro as well. We go thru Laredo too. Its not as bad as what everyone says it is. Its really quick and easy now, not like 10 or even 5 years ago. If i were you, i would get the car insurance and everything done ahead of time online. It makes the whole process go a lot faster. Also, assuming you're driving at a reasonable speed and only make stops to full up on gas, you could easily make it from Minnesota to Laredo in 24 hours. From Laredo to Queretaro its another 10 or 12 hours. Hope you find this somewhat helpful. Just talking and thinking about it makes me excited for my July trip to Queretaro!
