Yahoo homepage not updating news, sports etc.?

My yahoo homepage hasn't been updated in over 5 days, it's showing old news stories, sports scores etc. I'm using the old version of yahoo (not the beta) but I don't ...show more

I had this same problem after updating my browser for Windows. I had to reinstall Adobe and didn't know it, now everything works fine! Thank you.

The answer from CJ is clearly wrong. We are talking about a case where ONLY the sports are not updated! Further, Yahoo does not bother to even warn its users! His instructions largely apply to Windows machines; accessing on a different, MAC computer, shows the same bad data management.
