How do I change my yahoo page back to the old version?

How to return to Yahoo classic?

  • This morning Yahoo change my page and now at 92 years old I;mm in a real dither Want the old version back !!

  • Answer:

You can no longer change back to Classic. For a long time you could - it was when Yahoo offered the New Mail system as BETA. But they have since moved out of Beta and now, once you upgrade to the new version you can no longer go back to Classic. You said they upgraded you, but I would think you may have inadvertently clicked the link to the new version. It would be very rare they upgraded you without your consent. They have very good customer service. You should click through to the Help section - which I think is this link: http://help.yahoo.com//l/us/yahoo/mail/classic/ and write them and perhaps they can switch you back. However, they most likely can not.

Jack, yahoo has upgraded its current mail version and forced most of the users to move to the new version. I also feel that we've moved in to the stone age after migrating into this version. It's worst... really! Few days ago there was an option to switch back, but unfortunately now there's no way to get older version back. :(

At top right side of the yahoo mail and my yahoo you'll find a tab that says "options" and you'll find something saying "switch back to old version" or something like that. However it may appear different because my configuration is Spain. Hope I helped!
