Why are yahoo links opening in a new window?

When I click on a link on my My Yahoo! home page, instead of just going to the link, a new window (or tab) is opened. I tried this on Firefox and IE8 to make sure it wasn't ...show more

Same thing is happening to me, and there are no options to control it. I hate it. Hopefully Yahoo will give us the option to revert to the previous behavior.
