My daughter has a yahoo account that I want to cancel because she is abusing the priviledg. How to cancel?

I had this same problem when I grounded my son last year. I emailed yahoo, they did nothing. Your best bet would be to get her password. This is how I got the password. I got pizza delivered. My son's favorite. Made him a plate, but refused to give it to him until he gave me the password. He refused, so I said "well, guess you're not hungry then." After watching us eat a slice of pizza, he gave in. Trust me, it's not abuse. I don't starve my kids. But, when I took away the tv and the gamecube for him failing 2 classes, and it didn't work - this was all that was left for me to do. I then signed into his yahoo account, and clicked on my account, then the help link. In the search bar of yahoo help, I just typed in "cancel account." The next webpage gave me the link to cancel the account. In the reasons - I stated that the person who had the account was a minor using yahoo w/out parent permission, and gave my yahoo email in case they wanted to contact me with questions. They cancelled his account. He has since earned the privileges to reopen a yahoo email address. Which is used to transfer homework projects to & from school. Hey, they're teenagers. I never believed in spanking, and it would be stupid to spank a boy who's twice my height anyways. But, taking away privilges does give them a lesson that they need to obey the rules.

force her to give you her passward then change it then when se wants it back you can change itback

if shes abbusing this then shes probably abusing a lot of other things to like drugs and alcohal or aim or myspace...be careful and there is no way to delete because i tried deleting my old account and it wouldnt work

If she's abusing Yahoo! guidelines they will ban her themselves, but if its your rules she's abusing, tough luck. E-mail is rampant these days. It won't be her last even if you delete it.

I am not sure that you can delete it. I may be wrong. I would try to contact Yahoo and see what they can do for you.
