Answer:
Rather depends why he said no. If it's because you're too valuable out on the pitch and he wants you to play for the good of the team, then you'd better accept it. If it's because there's someone who the coach thinks is better than you could be, then you should try and convince him by working hard in training and showing some professionalism and determination. You should talk to him about it...if he doesn't want to talk, then just wait until you can move somewhere else and start then.

Well, it depends WHY he won't let you. If your an amazing player elsewhere on the field then you should stay in your position. If you just want to become goalie then you should get a private coach and work your butt off to prove you're worthy of the position. SHOW your coach you can be great as goalie.

Well, if the coach doesnt let you, then you should try to talk him into it, and if he doesnt let you, move to another club. Turn up with your gloves, and they have no choice but to put you in goalkeeper. And the coach decides for the whole good of the team, not just everyone personally. maybe he thinks there is someone better in GK and that you are really valuable out on the pitch. Sometimes you just have to accept it. But if you really really want to go to goalkeeper and the coach says its final, then move clubs.

the coach is looking out for the whole team, not just you personally. I take it he has enough people who he really likes playing goalie for now, so he needs you to play some other position for the good of the time. Ask him if you can train with the goalies some but keep your position and maybe play goalie next season. If he says no, well, you may need to find another team if you really want to be goalie that badly, but do you?

well first you need to talk him into letting you play forward. wasnt that what you wanted first? I have a strong feeling this coach has good reasoning behind his alleged decision.

join a different team in the same league and when you block all the shots on goal by your old team and your coach wants you back tell him to go **** himself.
