Who is the most overrated Football 'Soccer' player ever?

I would have to agree with you. I mean, Beckham does have good looks but because he's married to Posh Spice, and has celebrity friends and recently moved to here to the States and joined L.A. Galaxy, I feel he has been getting a lot more attention than other better soccer players should. So to me, he is the most overrated soccer player. There are great soccer players, that don't have to go through the 'hype' such as Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Christian Ronaldo, Messi, Ferdinand, Zidane, and more.

i agree i went to a red bulls vs galaxy game and people act like he [beckham] is one of the best ever. espn over rated his coming to america with all those commercials. Ronaldinho too sure he is pretty good but not comparable to maradona pele zidane or other greats

i could agree with you on Carragher, Tevez and G. Millito...however the other names you mentioned are absolutely not over rated, i could agree that beckham was overated since he joined L.A. Galaxy but when he was with real madrid and Man. utd. he was in fact under rated.

most players are overrated by fans of club they play for . as soon as they leave they turn into crabs or worse
