Who do you think is the best soccer player of all time?

I've never really seen Pelé play, so I'd have to go with Maradona.

Pele hands down but now we have a few rising stars after him too, Zidane was one, Maradona is someone we can't forget about and Ronaldo too but if we see each team has a unique player, Cristiano Ronaldinho is a good player if he tries to put in a bit more effort in his skilled footwork lol, Ballack is other from the German side but at times much hyped player !!! Messi and Totti once again as i said players here and there in each team but exceptional ones are those who make a big impact. Pele, Maradona and Ronaldo.

Football has been constantly evolving and it is hard to compare.... for example Pelé did not play in Europe , still he is great. He also had very good team mates. But my vote goes for Zinedine Zidane (yes even though he deserved the red in the world cup final)

Pele may not stack up to players of today much the same as one could say that Michael Phelps is far superior to Mark Spitz.... but Pele was the father of modern soccer and his accomplishments/ abilities set the table for today's players. IMO 1- Pele 2 - Maradonna 3 - Roberto Baggio 4- Z Zidane 5 - F Beckenbauer Kaka, C Ronaldo and L Messi will probably move to #2 AND #3 but they are still young and if they maintain current levels over time can be considered amoung the best
