What do I need to do to get on the soccer team next year?

What is skill level ? Are you good a t dribbling, tackling, heading, passing ? I believe in th Us that Soccer is very popular. Is there a local club you can try out for to improve what skills you have ? When I was a youngster, we would throw a ball against a wall, and practice, either heading it at another object, (bucket or similar) or volley it. Also sometimes we would just control it with a thigh, or the instep. Its important to practice practice practice. If you cant join a team, find a friend who will throw or kick the ball at you, then control it, flick it up a couple of times and hit it back. Good luck
