Should a soccer goalie wear cleats?

I'm in my school's soccer team, im the goalie and I don't know wheather or not to wear cleats or regular soccer shoes. I dont really have an idea of what to wear for ...show more

Cleats are necessary because you are doing kicking of the soccer ball. You do not want to slip if you are kicking a goal kick and give away the ball to the other team. It helps with traction when it is muddy.

Yes you should most definitely wear cleats. Now whether you wear hard or soft turf cleats is up to what the field is like, but cleats are for sure a necessity.
