Germany are more than capable at the minute. Belgium are the up and coming side though, incredible squad!

I would say Germany are actually looking a lot more shaky than usual. They are getting a lot of stick at home, especially Neuer, which is ridiculous because he is a brilliant goalie. For me it's still Spain. Give it 4 years and (don't laugh) it will be England - young, skillful and exciting - when they have more than a few months experience of playing together they will be excellent - mark my words.

No matter what happens Germany will win for me.

I hope it's Germany in next world cup. They really have a quality team, and deserve to win it! Italy also have good squad, and are threat to Germans. I wouldn't be surprised if they win world cup again. Spain, even if inconsistent, are the best team in world currently and they play good when it really matters. France are also having talented players in the likes of Pogba, Varane, M'Vila, Ribéry. So, they are also look scary. England will be dark horses for me. They really don't look dangerous nowadays. Portugal and Netherlands are good but lack that killer instinct.

My bet is on Germany. They're consistently developing their game and improving every time. I haven't heard of any new Dutch star since Huntelaar, and their old South African squad is aging. Same with Brazil. Neymar is their latest star, and he's more of a showman than a footballer, more like Justin Bieber than like a Ronaldo. Spain is still Barcelona + Real Madrid + a few others. I doubt they'll be able to conquer another World Cup, but I wouldn't completely dismiss the possibility. Italy is not my favorite European team, I expect nothing good from them. But they're a hard-headed and stubborn people, they may surprise us at any time. Argentina is in fact leading the Latin American pack, I think they may reach the final match but not win the cup.

I do believe Germany will win the 2014 World Cup. Joachim Low seems to be trying out new formations and tactics with the squad in the Qualifiers, lately playing with a false nine. Spain's passing game can easily be broken down if defended well against, like Finland did the other day on the 1-1 draw. Germany has pace and explosiveness, and not to mention one of the strongest benches you will ever see. The amount of variations in style that they can create will surely bring the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Euro back to Berlin. Now, in terms for Italy and Holland... Holland is a good team who has a good front but a mediocre back. The defense shows inconsistency at times, much like Arsenal at times. One of the main reasons they lost early in the EURO 2012 was because of their defensive disorganization. Italy is also a great team, but I do believe that when you use the passing game against them or the explosiveness attack, they struggle in form. Their defense isn't fast but they are disciplined, much like Germany's. Their main attacker seems to only be Balotelli, and the only player that can challenge his position is Di Natale (Cassano just can't find form and consistency lately). Also, if Pirlo is shut down, then Italy can't create plays. It's not like Germany who has Gotze, Ozil, Reus, Kroos, and Schweinsteiger to create constant through balls and perfect lobs for them (not to mention that Germany is deadly in the air due to their jumping and height). South American teams aren't doing it. I'm part Chilean but they feature a lot of defensive problems. They'll at least make it to the World Cup that's for sure, but not so sure about winning it. Brazil is simply not the powerhouse they used to be, and Argentina can easily be dismantled due to their defense. Same thing with Colombia. Strong front, weak back. Cheers.

I think Germany, Spain and Netherlands are the strongest teams from Europe as of right now. Italy can be put into that category, but they need more players than just Balotelli to score. Portugal and England are two teams that are very much overrated, Portugal is struggling in what I would consider to be a rather weak group and England just always seem to struggle at the international level.

Brazil didn't reach the finals in the South American Nations cup yet they are holding their own in europe friendlies so don't write off that part of the world and they are holding it

The Croatians have a good chance of winning the World Cup, since the new manager, Igor Štimac came they are on a winning spree.
