Before you spend for the visa understand you must clearly prove that you and each member of your family has a compelling reason to return home to Philippines. In order to do so you must provide proof you have a large amount of money invested in RP or in a Philippine bank. You must also have a substantial home and it would be very helpful if you own a business in Philippines. You must have clear documentation showing these assets. It is true that some may be approved a visitors visa with none of the above assets. One never knows, good luck to your and your family members.

When you come over here you get a 21 day visa automatically. after that you extend your visa at the Philippine Immigration Bureau for about $100 for 59 days. You do this here. Just ask anybody where the office is or a travel agency can do it for a fee. Do NOT wait until the 21 days are up as they will fine you $20.
