First day of highschool??? how am i supposed to go half way around the school in 8 min???

I had to do it in 4 minutes ;) I know it seems terrifying at first, but you'll get used to it. Pretty soon you'll be getting to each class with time to spare and won't even remember you had these concerns.

it's not that hard. you'll actually find you'll have extra time. take books for more than one class with you at a time

You are complaining about 8 minutes? We only had 3 or 4 minutes to do it. If you are worried about it don't go to your locker after every class

Use a backpack and take all of your stuff with you so you don't have to go to your locker if you want to save time.

Don't spend a lot of time at your locker and don't chat with your friends. 8 minutes is more then I got in school. When I was in school we had to get from one class to the other in 3 minutes. Otherwise we were late and had to get a slip from the office before we were allowed in school. They should give you a few extra minutes for the first day but after wards your on your own.

we get 3 min. I don't even go to my locker. I just not take my books to class, and I just use my neighbors. Running is also a good option.

Youll find a way. I had to do it in five it takes less time than youd think it would. Just dont be extra slow & don't socialize.

I know what you are going throug hun.I felt the same way when I was your age. Trust me, somehow it works. Once you start doing it, you just know when to get there and its not that hard. The begining of school always know that you guys will be a few minutes late until you get in the swing of things! Oh and by the have a blast in high school. You nay not think it now but its the best! we had to do ours in 3.. granted we probably had a smaller school but that doesn't leave much room for walking plus potty breaks! i remember worrying about how this was possible as well... they must set that time limit with the distance in mind... obviously is enough time or they would change it if most people came in to class tardy do to not enough time... don't lolli-gag, you'll be fine! enjoy 9th grade!
