I was joking about the incarceration comment. Why don't you try some different exercises like sit-ups, crunches, push-ups, and running in place. I was in the military for 10 years and I used to do those types of exercises in my room - they will get you toned and in shape. Start out doing small reps and work your way up as you get stronger. Make sure to stretch out your limbs and ab's before exercising. I'm not sure where you are at as far as your fitness level/strength, but start your reps at the number that feels most comfortable for you and then increase in the days/weeks to come.

I jog. And when I was volunteering at a camp I jogged on the highway. You can jog anywhere. Stay safe though. HEY, you could do aerobic videos. They have some good ones .
