To Messi fans: Why Messi is playing god-like football for Barca while he plays "average-ish" for Argentina?

coz he has been grown up by team barcelona.he spend his child hood in that club so he plays good for it but don't no about argentina

Dude , how do you even define Football .. I surely don't think the Argentina Football team is Messi ... They are a lot of other players there who make the game called Football , sso what do we understand Football is a TEAM SPORT , it's not tennis... He can't do everything himself .. Well what we surely can see by Portugal too , Ronaldo hasn't made it further than Argentina either ... Messi is a team man not a single player .. and he's the BEST ! and Barcelona as a club is more of his National team than Argentina is , He grew up there , they payed him his operation and he has trained his whole life in Barcelona ..

Football is a team sport, No one can do anything on his own, at Barcelona he has a brilliant team who play with a very telepathic understanding, he is just the missing link at Barcelona but Argentina at the world cup was just a very poor team defensively and they were punished by a better team. He plays well for Argentina quite well now but they still lack defensive players, they are horrible at the back but they midfield is atleast better than that world cup team.

"Average-ish"? He plays pretty good for Argentina. However, one is much closer to his club than he is to his national team, since players play 3/4 of the year with their club and 1/4 with their national team. He is much closer to Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Valdes, Pique, etc. than he is to Tevez, Higuain, Pastore, Zanetti, etc. It's not all about goal scoring either, in the World Cup, Messi did everything for Argentina, and he was nominated for the best player. Schweinsteiger didn't skin Messi either, the whole Germany team beat Argentina, it wasn't one player's fault that Argentina lost, it was everyone's fault. Nowadays Messi is almost as good with Argentina than he is with Barcelona, he scores in important friendlies but we'll see in the Copa America this summer. Sergio Batista is doing a great job so far with Argentina. I think you're just bitter that Messi is by far on top of everyone else, individually, better to just admit he's by far the best.

I advise you to start watching Argentina under Batista. Messi's performance has been very good when they played against Portugal, Spain, and Brazil. Argentina will for sure win Copa America.

maradona changed the team system because he got overconfident by last games . he turned it to be more offensive . messi played CAM and that's not his position . the result was a predictable failure . argentina has great strikers and very weak at defence that's another reason . messi was under a lot of pressure because people were expecting him to pull of a maradona and win the cupthat'ss another one . cambiasodidn'tt get to play , he could have helped a lot that's another reason for argentina lose
