What is the cheapest way to rent a scooter in italy that can be taken around the country?

I do not have a motorcycle license, so I cannot rent a motorcycle but I would like to rent a scooter for a few days to take from Venice to Rome. Does anyone know how much this will ...show more

can't do it... without motorcycle license cannot drive a 250cc... and in highway cannot drive with something less thn a 250cc.... with a 50cc you'd take 3 months... go by train and rent in Rome one just for Rome

on a scooter from venice to rome???? YOU ARE CRAZY! is not possible... rent a scooter only in Rome , if you are so brave... (i'm italian and live in rome but i'm afraid to ride a scooter here, is really dangerous) Plus, by law you cannot ride a scooter on highway, and you don't need a scooter in Venice. My suggestion is, walk in venice, rent a car from venice to rome (if u really want to drive, i prefer the train) and rent a scooter in rome
