    It would be helpful to know where in Italy are you going...I know plenty of good bars in my area, but if you are going to, let's say, Rome, it won't be very useful to know them, right??? ;-) As for good Italian drinks, my favorite is Negroni (quite strong but YUMMY!). Otherwise, my suggestion is to get a good glass of wine: there are so many different types of wine in Italy, and they are well worth a test!

Hi, I dunno all the bars of the whole Italy, it depends on where you are going to. Some bars are really famouse, like "Caffé Romano" or the bars under the gallery of Milan (and also very expensive). In my city, Pescara (Abruzzo, Adriatic coast) the most famouse bars are Caffè Venezia and all the bars in the centre. They make good ice-creams, aperitifs, arigianal yogurts and coffees. Then there are also many locals to go out on evening, but the best aren't in the downtown, but in the historical centre. There you can drink the best cocktails. My favourite is "Rossini" (strawberry plus sparkling wine) or Bellini (peach plus sparkling wine), otherwise Caipiroska and Caipirinha are good too. To drink every region in Italy has its own wine. I suggest you to try the local wine.
