So, I am Italian. Not all Italians watch a lot of television, depends on the time they have. They watch television for lunch, for dinner and before bedtime. Those shows are broadcast in the evening and are seen as more to the elderly. There are also cultural performances that are seen by more people. apologize if I made some mistakes =)
