    Hello i'm Italian , and i'm happy to answer your question. Milano is an european city , the nightlife is like the ther european capital (parigi , berlino, londra ecc) But the life isn't good because it's full of criminal and immigrants ( mainly arabs,african and asian) and the people are cold and in winter there isn't sunny day because there's the fog. Roma is different , the nightlife is the same of milano and the other european capital. But the life here is better than the north: there is more sunny day than in Milano and other city of the north Italia and the people are more open and funny and the things cost less than in the north for example a coffe in rome cost 0,70 euro in my city Modena (in the north of Italia) a coffe cost 1,10 (1,5 dollar)

is same bloody life rome is nice to visit for monuments and old stuff liek that then in milano u can dolots of shopping both city rock milano is mor into fashion and rent to appartments is way higher then in rome but rome as i said has some nice things to visit..who says milano is better or rome is better are just some native pricks who are fighting like 2 years children..both city have pubs and clubs alcatraz for example is in milano is a great club and beeing in north both cityes have same f....k weather is not like the sun rises in milano and ges down in rome or other way around ..as job oportunites most came to milano for work is true are many people from diffrent nations here but so in rome and rest of italy....both are expensive n my opinion and u need to get a good job and also find a good cheep apartment.best of luck
