What are some highlights of things to do and see in venice and rome italy?

When in Rome..The eternal city....The Colosseum, forums, palatine hill, piazza del popolo, circus maximus, pantheon, vatican museums, St. Peter's basillica, Borghese Gallery, spanish steps and the capitolini hill. Rome is a very small city so you can walk to these places or your can use the metro system which is inexpensive to use (the coliseum is s a must) In Venice.. Rialto bridge, The Bell Tower, St, Marks square, the Basilica San Marco Use the water bus or Vaporetto Request some information from AAA if your a member. Also, walk into a travel place and ask for some information. They give out the books and you can just browse through them. Also I went to Barnes and Noble and browsed around looking at the books I jotted down some things and never bought a book

we got married in Rome in the summer! it is an amazing place go, you could check out all the main tourist places but for fabulous restaurants go for a wander down some little sidestreets you will find that the locals stay away from all the main areas and go off to the smaller cafes etc. The food is out of this world, everywhere is within walking distance, just get a map and you are good to go! have a fab time
