generally in italy summer holidays start around the 10 june (day more-day less...) and end around the 15th september (this depends on where u live cause each region decides when to open again its schools) ciao:)

Do you mean school holidays? There are variation depending on which area/region you go. Generally from mid June (except for students that need to pass exams) to beginning/mid September. Most workplaces close in August, not a good time to go on holiday in Italy, as some shops/museum might be closed or with reduced services, also resorts very crowded!

In Spain for school children its 23rd of June until mid September, Italy is more or less the same. but the actual summer holiday for adults across the med is the whole of August.
