A lot of programs used to do what you just asked, I specially liked http://IFTTT.com where you could get your twitter timeline and save it in Google Drive sheet for example http://IFTTT.com.. but when Twitter changed their rules of API usage, all those programs and automation are now gone. This is very simple to do, if it is for personal usage (so you do not violate the twitter API rules) and assuming that you know how to do simple programming and call web services (Twitter API calls)
