Creative ideas to raise $4,000?

I need funraising ideas to raise 4,000 dollars to go over sea's to Rome and Spain. Any ideas?

  Only fundraise if the whole group ( or school) is working together. Pool it to reduce costs for everyone. Fundraising alone is risky & can be considered "begging" if you don't follow rules for such things. A job is a better idea. Then if you don't raise enough, you get to keep what you earned instead of having to donate it to the group. Fundraising is tougher then a job as you have no idea of what you will make or when you will make it. That can leave you in a mess if you are short. A job lets you budget your time & money.
