  My top must-sees are the Coliseum, Fountain of Trevi, Spanish Steps, and the Vatican. But realistically, here's what you can do! The Coliseum is next to Palatine Hill (admission tickets give you entrance to both) and the Roman Forum. All of this is worth seeing. Not too far away to the Fountain of Trevi, and the Spanish Steps and Pantheon are within easy walking distance of it. The Vatican is hard because it is fairly distant from everything else. You can easily get into St. Peter's Basicila and tour on your own time, and of course see St. Peter's Square. Lines are long to get into the Museums (where the Sistene Chapel is). But you'll have to decide if you want to visit, because it's not walking distance to anything else. Personally, I would skip it and try to do as much as possible in town. Everything should be open, no worries there. Have a great time!
