    I lived in Rome so wehhn I was back for work, I put my 20 something niece and my secretary on that Big Red doubledecker Bus as soon as they got there. They got their bearings and saw some things that they would not have traveled to and got a plan for the ones they wanted to see up close. Get info at the many news stands that post a poster about it and on the Corso people are standing around with ticket books selling.

I live in Rome for several years and I could not yet see all the wonders that are in town. If you come to Rome for a weekend i suggest you visit the classic monuments like the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain. may is one of the best month for visiting Rome,because it shouldn't be so hot yet and the days are longer,so you can enjoy the city.to plan your travel just get the map of the city once you got there and go by subway everywhere(it closed around midnight so waych out).walking is another alternative to visit rome...enjoy it
