Where is a good location to stay in Rome, Italy?

What location should I stay at in Rome?

    I agree with ANGY - out of those two locations I would certainly stay near the Pantheon. It is indeed a magical building, truly my favourite building in the world - 'awesome' is a MUCH overused word, but perhaps 'awe inspiring' would be the best way to describe it. To think it is very nearly 2000 years old rather boggles the mind. As ANGY also says, aside from the Pantheon itself there is also much else nearby, so it's a good place to stay. Personally I stay in a lovely hotel near Termini which is not central, but is better value than the most centrally located hotels and has excellent links (via Termini) to both Rome metro lines, the airport, and Naples and Florence. But go for the Pantheon - if you don't fall in love with it, you're an odd'un ;) Have fun!

Definitely the Pantheon, it is one of my favourite locations, nearby you have the famous Piazza Di Spagna, Via Condotti, Via del Corso etc. The Pantheon itself is a sort of magic place, you will see by yourself.

I like the area near the Pantheon because it's more centrally located for the tourist attractions. There are some nice places around the colosseum though and it isn't a bad place to stay.
