Answer:
I do live in such a country, it's called America. There are millions of unemployed and working-poor Americans who can't find a job that pays a living wage.

Some people here in America have that problem, thanks to illegals depressing wages!
I'd demand rights in my own country, instead of whining for rights in someone else's country. Shouldn't their countries be held accountable for not caring for their own people. In America we have enough problems without them. Like someone said below there are plenty of poor AMERICANS who need jobs. to : "Lord" the war hasn't ended because not everyone wants to end it, 1/2 are for it 1/2 are against it, when there is a majority maybe something will change

I definatley wouldnt reproduce and make matters worse and then expect someone else to pay for it.I would probaly do what Im doing right now, keep working even though I dont get paid enough due to illegals undermining the American workers. There are nearly five billion people in the world who live in countries poorer than Mexico. It can safely be assumed that many of those billions—like many Mexicans—would love to come to the United States in search of higher consumption levels. Some Americans think that would be a great thing. But everybody else thinks it would be a terrible disaster. A 1998 Roper Poll found that only six percent of Americans think we don't have enough people in the country. Since this is a democracy, subjective questions like this one are best decided by the majority, and since the people have not yet voted the borders out of existence, we have to operate from the position that our country still has them. One of the characteristics of borders is that it divides the human race into those within the borders and those outside—just like the door to your apartment divides the human race into those within your apartment, and those on the outside. Borders, like doors and locks, are exclusionary by nature. In the modern age, of course, this seems like a great sin, since a primary modern virtue is "inclusion." We moderns have a difficult time saying "us" and "them." It goes against our modern sensibilities to say to someone born in Switzerland or Bangladesh, "I'm sorry. You are excluded." To us, it seems "mean." But it is not mean. It is realistic and necessary and prudent. Keep in mind one thing: our country is already taking in far more immigrants every year than any other country in the world. This extremely high rate of immigration is causing our nation to undergo massive changes changes the majority of the people of this country don't even want. Yet for all the people we are taking in, we are still taking in only a little more than one percent of the births-over-deaths population growth of the world. If we are going to be "compassionate" to all the foreigners of the world and dismiss the best interests of our own people, what about that other 99 percent? Again, it is not mean to control our borders. It is necessary and realistic. What is mean is leaving our children a country twice as populated as we found it for no good reason other than that we were too lazy, or too cringing, or too benighted, to defend our borders.

I'd find something LEGAL to support my family. I would NEVER violate another country's immigration laws, so don't go there!

I would move, fight for rights in my country (not someone Else's) or work harder to make ends meet. No one is forcing them to stay in their country of origin, but it is appropriate to do it legally. America accepts 2 million LEGAL immigrants every year. That's more than every other country in the world combined (there are about 194 countries in the world) You really can't ask for more. If I really had no other choice but to immigrate unlawfully, I certainly wouldn't be gallabanding around with the flag of a country I didn't even see fit to live in. I wouldn't demand people learn my language. I wouldn't protest for rights I don't deserve unless I am a citizen. I wouldn't commit crimes which could potentially get me deported. I wouldn't abuse social services. I certainly wouldn't whine when it was pointed out that I was in the wrong. *edit* America does help countries in need! Where have you been? They provide millions to Mexico in the form of foreign aid every year. For years America has been turning a blind eye to illegal immigrants. We let them cross the border unlawfully, we give them free education, medical, all types of social services... social services that Americans can't even get in their time of need anymore because the overwhelming amount of illegal immigrants using them up!!! heck, they're not even citizens and we give them all the same rights! All we ask is for a little appreciation. We don't want them burning our flag. We don't want them abusing social services. We don't want them coming in hordes to the point where we can't afford them anymore. America helps everyone they can. We cannot save the world. This argument on illegal immigration cannot be solely based on emotion. We need to be realistic about what can and cannot be accomplished. I feel bad for their plight, but can you really risk the lives of all of America just to have free and open borders?! Lets use our head here. Letting all of the poor population of every other country come here just isn't realistic or financially possible.

What if my neighbor had so much food, so many cars, has a big house, so much money? I do not. Will it make it right to go and steal his food, live off his money and use the facilities of his house just because I am poor? If you say... yes, he has the right, then what incentive will there be for people to make good if the underpriviledged can come and steal it someday? We can all be a nation of poor people and go live off some other nation's generosity. Just like what is happening now.**

Well my parent grew up dirt poor in Mexico. They saved their pennies and applied to be citizens. Now the entire family is in America and LEGAL. I'm Chicana and I'm saying that the ILLEGAL immigrant marches are ridiculous. They have no rights, they need to follow my parent's example and do it the right way. IT IS POSSIBLE. And stop the "si se puede", this was not what Cesar Chavez was talking about. He didn't say anything about ILLEGAL immigrants.

instead of running away from the problem, maybe do something about it in my own country?

Most counties have the means to support their citizens, but choose not to because the keep the wealth in the hands of a few. The answer is use your blood, sweat, and tears as we did to break away from the Britt's. Running away will never solve the problems of your country of origins
